CJB Insurance Services Inc. was founded in 1998 by Meredith Thomas, this boutique brokerage was formed specifically to insure the Jewellery and Fine Art industries. The business flourished due to the personal service provided. Relying on face to face meetings or telephone calls to advise our clients rather than messages and emails. This level of personal service helps ensure that all insurance solutions are tailored to the client. The business model worked well, so well that our existing clients started to ask us to insure their homes, cars, cottages and other businesses. As CJB Insurance Services Inc. was set up specifically to deal with Jewellery and Fine Art risks it lacked the markets necessary to insure risks falling outside of these categories.

Consequently CJB General Insurance Brokers Inc. was founded in 2012 in order to offer a wide range of insurance products. The same business model was applied to ensure that our existing clients received the service that they have grown accustomed to.
